Martin has worked for Scott Laboratories, Ltd for over 30 years. Prior to joining Scott, he studied engineering and business and worked in industrial filtration and pollution control. Martin has hands-on winemaking experience and specializes in filtration and more recently, in bottling operations.

Joe Baker

Joe worked in the cosmetic and food ingredients industry for 10 years before joining Scott Laboratories, Ltd in 1989. He earned a BS degree in chemistry from the University of Waterloo. The brewing industry is his area of expertise, though he has accrued considerable experience in the wine industry during his tenure at Scott Labs.
Jessica Just

After brewing her first batch of beer at the age of 14, Jessica Just has continued to pursue her passion for all things fermentation. An Oregon native, Jessica is the first female graduate of the Fermentation Science program at Oregon State University where she received both a B.S. and M.S. Among other topics, her research included the attributes of wine consumption during a meal that protect against food poisoning. Jessica joined Scott Laboratories, Ltd in 2002 for inside technical support and product management of lysozyme and Velcorin. She moved to Walla Walla, Washington in late 2004 as a full-time outside sales representative.
Alan Marks
Technical Sales Representative
Alan joined Scott Laboratories Ltd. in 2006 previously working in the wine industry for 19 years after completing a B.S. and M.S. in Agriculture and a Ph.D. in Food Science. His background includes winemaking, marketing and management support for numerous clients in the Okanagan Valley with interests in using new research to improve wine and beer making practices.
